


Holding and Healing Through the Holidays
This six-part series is designed to support us as we navigate through the holiday season. We will explore all we hold and how we want to be, feel and show up for ourselves and our loved ones. Sessions will include self-explorations, practices for staying present, how to handle stressful interactions, ways of coping with emotions, grief & loss, balancing giving and receiving, time management, nervous system regulation, loving being with loved ones, managing expectations, disappointment, overwhelm and exhaustion and how to find joy in the preparation, experience and culmination of the holiday season. We will read poems and words of wisdom, write, collage, share experiences, create altars, set intentions and practice many mindfulness, breathing and embodiment techniques that can help resource us. Sessions will be 1 1/2 hours and will be offered from 7:00 - 8:30 EST, on Thursdays, November 13, 20, December 4, 11, 18, January 8
In between sessions, we will have opportunities to share our journeys through an online forum. I will share resources and offer prompts for writing, reflection and contemplation as well as mindfulness practices. If you choose, you will be offered an opportunity to have a “holiday companion,” from our group of participants who would also like a partner to journey with through this time of year.
